No Christmas gift could be greater for John Mayer than giving him an excuse to pose in his traditional sultry, come-hither position for a photograph. Without a Rolling Stone cover in the pipeline, dressing up as Santa was going to have to do. And of course, with Mayer lacking any kind of social media persona—probably for the best, if you remember some of the stuff he said and did when he actually had one—he needed his maybe-girlfriend Katy Perry to get the pic out into the world:
