No points for outside-of-the-box creativity for Usher or director Chris Applebaum on this one, but then again, sometimes the simplest artistic interpretations are the best (or at least the most unavoidable). So the video for presumptive new Looking 4 Myself single “Dive”—not a bad song, though certainly not one of our L4M favs—features a rather healthy amount of liquid surrounding and eventually submerging Usher and his lovely leading lady, a rather obvious complementary image to the song’s “Loving makes you so wet / Your legs, your thighs” lyrics.
At least there’s also some hot sex, and some cool-looking silhouette shots.
We bet when “Looking 4 Myself” finally gets a music video, there are probably a lot of mirrors involved. (Hey, as long as that song gets a video…)
