When we last posted about “I Wish You Would,” we called the track both dramatic and demonic. (In a good way.) The preview for its video, directed by Hype Williams, is both. It’s dramatic, because the entire screen is shaking as the music shakes itself up. And it’s demonic, because after watching this my insides feel pretty demonic, like I should go fix an acetaminophen smoothie. (Note: Do not do this. It would probably kill you.)
There’s not much to the trailer, because it’s a DJ Khaled trailer, but at any rate, fantastic work, Khaled. Well done, Rick Ross. Good for you, Kanye. This is an accomplishment. What kind of accomplishment, we’re not quite sure. Whether the whole video will be like this, we’re also unsure. Why Miami, where this was shot, looks like the bottom of a large drain pipe… you get it.
