Lindsay Lohan wasn’t the only threat to one of Justin Bieber’s two Madison Square Garden shows, as new information claims the 18-year-old Bieber was the target of a gruesome murder, castration plot last month. According to Albuquerque’s KRQE News 13, Dana Martin, a convicted killer currently serving two life sentences in prison for the 2000 rape and murder of a young girl, had caught Bieber Fever while in prison—like, tattoo-of-Bieber-on-his-leg-obsessed—and recruited both Mark Staarke and his nephew Tanner Ruane to carry out horrific plans during Bieb’s November 28 and 29 shows. The hired hitman reportedly planned to make there way into MSG, strangle Bieber and his bodyguard with paisley ties and then castrate them. Martin ultimately revealed the plans to investigators, while Staarke was arrested in Vermont on outstanding charges. Ruane did make it to New York, but was intercepted and arrested by police before he was able to carry out any of the plans.
What does Team Bieber have to say in the aftermath of such a scary revelation? “We take every precaution to protect and insure the safety of Justin and his fans,” the Bieb’s manager Scooter Braun told Us Weekly .
